Cut in one end of the frankfurter while making sure that each cut is the same length and same width.  (With this, we can make sure that the octopus will stand on the plate in a stable way.)

Mix the ketchup into the prepared thick pancake dough.

Dip the heads of the frankfurters into the mixture. If the dough doesn’t seem to stick to the frankfurter, dip the frankfurters into a little flour first.

Put the frankfurters into hot oil and fry them. Make sure they don’t burn!

Now comes the decoration. You can use many things like mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salad, tomato or any kind of vegetable.
