Cheese croissant! To start off the day right!
Add yeast bit by bit to warm water, then add sugar and let it rise in a warm place.
Combine flour, sugar, egg, kefir, butter, salt and oil. Add the risen yeast and knead thorough.
Cover the dough with a dishcloth and let it rise in a warm place for 40-60 minutes.
Divide the risen dough into 4 equally sized pieces.
Flatten the dough into circle shapes and grease with salted butter.
Cut the circles into 12 pieces.
Roll up the pieces and put them in a pan lined with parchment.
Brush the croissants with whisked egg and dust with grated cheese.
Let it rise for 15 more minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
