Somloi dumplings recipe: Preparing the Somloi dumplings is simple! First, beat whites until thick.
Beat yolks with sugar until foamy.
Carefully add to the egg white foam.
Next, add flour.
Put in a buttered and floured pan and bake at 360 degrees F for 15 minutes.
For the nut biscuit: Beat whites until thick.
Beat the yolks again with sugar until foamy.
Carefully add to the egg white foam.
Add flour and ground walnuts.
Put in a buttered and floured pan and bake at 360 degrees F for 15 minutes.
For the cocoa biscuit: Beat whites until thick.
Beat yolks with sugar until foamy.
Carefully add to the egg white foam.
Combine with flour and cocoa powder.
Put in a buttered and floured pan and bake at 360 degrees F for 15 minutes.
For the cream: Cook the milk with vanilla custard powder.
For the syrup: Melt butter/margarine over steam with sugar.
When melted, mix with cocoa powder and milk.
Start layering. At the bottom of a bowl add one layer of biscuit.
Followed by cream.
Then, add chocolate syrup.
Sprinkle with ground walnuts and raisins.
Followed by another layer; now with chocolate biscuit.
Do the same with the walnut biscuit and add cream on top.
